Vintage 2008
Vintage 2008 will go down in history as one of the most challenging in our 20 year history. It started brillantly with fine mild weather allowing the Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho to be picked at their premium levels. The first 80% of Shiraz was also outstanding and the winemaking team is over the moon with the prospects for the 2008 Shiraz.

Isabel Grace Keelan is one!
We can’t believe she is one already! Isabel is a true winery chick... loves hanging out with poppa in his office and exploring the winery at any opportunity. Isabel obviously has her mothers’ palate, anything and everything goes in her mouth for a taste, developing her sensory dictionary for future use!! She has work experience in all areas; vineyard, marketing, winemaking, CEO and of course is learning all of grandma’s amazing recipes… I guess we will just have to wait and see!

Bremerton Lazy Sunday – what a whirlwind!!
The Lazy Sunday is the 4th function in a row in which Mother Nature has had to put her two bobs worth in. Talk about extremes, it all started with the original Lazy Sunday having to be re-scheduled because of 40 degree heat only to have 3 weeks later, 4 seasons in one day. Between flying umbrellas, showers of rain and moving 100 guests from outside in, everyone managed to have an enjoyable day!!

Once again the fabulous band Club Schmaltz braved the weather and had everyone on the dance floor, despite the weather. It was a relaxed day with no formalities in which people could sit back and enjoy good food, with great wine and fantastic music.

Art Exhibition – George Steggles
Over the months of April & May the cellar door will be exhibiting a selection of oil and acrylic paintings from the fine artist George Steggles. George has extensively studied and worked around the world in education, specialising in art. He has a keen interest in nature and the environment and his paintings reflect this. He has showed many exhibitions around the world including England and Canada. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see some very fine art. For further information please phone the Cellar door on (08) 8537 3093.

Cellar Door Winter Menu
Keep in mind, when planning your next visit to our Cellar Door our winter menu will be available as of 2nd May. This will include Mignonne’s delicious home cooked soup (yum!). Plus we will also have the return of the Beef & red wine pies. It’s the perfect excuse to spend a lazy afternoon by the fire with a hearty winters lunch with a good glass of red while you listen to the rain bucket down outside (here’s hoping!!).

Are you sharing the Bremerton experience?
As a subscriber to our regular eNews service, would your friends forgive you if they knew that they were missing out on offers from Bremerton? Why not keep them in the loop by using the ‘Tell a Friend’ function at the right hand side of this and each Bremerton eNewsletter and let them decide if they would like to subscribe for themselves. Your friend or colleague will receive the link via email with your name included as the referrer.
They will not be automatically subscribed – that will remain their choice as they will need to validate the subscription.

As a thank you for spreading the word, each month we’ll randomly select one lucky referrer and send them a gift from the cellar door – good luck and thanks from us (and your friends) for sharing the Bremerton experience around.

Congratulations to Judith Walta who was the lucky monthly 'Tell a friend' winner.
